I visited at Tokyo Skytree two times within a week. In the first time I visited there with Pinja, but we didn't go up. We were only shopping in the mall and then we visited in the Kirby Cafe. The tower is very very high!! I only have seen it in the night so it had many lights and it looked pretty.
Second time I went there with Noora and Emma. We went there after work and this time we did go to up! We bought the Compo Ticket and it costed about 3 100 yen. It was cheaper because it was a weekday. If you go to weekend, it's much more expensive.
The ticket were very easy to get. You go to counter in the Tokyo Skytree tower and you can choose what ticket you want. There is a Compo Ticket where you can go to Deck and then the upper floor, the Gallery. You can also bought only the Deck ticket so you won't have to pay much. Noora wanted the Compo Ticket because there was an event about Final Fantasy and it where the Gallery floor. I wasn't very interested about Final Fantasy, but I bought the ticket still. You can also order the tickets online and it will be cheaper.
We were escorted to the elevator. Before that there was an bag checking. The elevator was very big and we were told that every elevator was themed after the seasons. Our elevator was summer and it has very beautiful lights. The elevator went up very fast and my ears got clogged. It wasn't a nice feeling but it disappeared fast.
The scenery was breathtaking! We were so high up and the city lights looked so pretty. I never thought I would see that beautiful night view of Tokyo. I'm really in the big city where I wanted to go as I was a little kid. I was sad that I didn't take my camera with me.
But I took pictures with my phone's camera. I will be back another time and I will take my camera with me. But the bad point taking pictures at night was that the inside light reflection came to the picture. So there is light spots in these pictures and I don't like it very much.
Then we did go to the upper floor. There was many Final Fantasy thing, but I didn't know much so I wasn't very interested. I was mostly watching the view. There were also a Final Fantasy merchandise you can buy. Noora and Emma bought some keychains. I didn't bought anything. I bought only a corn dog from a little food stall. I was so hungry so I wanted to eat something.
There also was a glass floor in floor downer the Deck. It was scary but I took picture still. I also took pictures of Noora and I add them below. The Tokyo Skytree was really worth the money and I recommend you to go there if you can.
